We will be using a Pinterest idea to create our own Valentine's Day gift bags. Residents can give these bags to their friends or boyfriends.
Making Valentine's Day cards and crafts to send to loved ones or share with friends. This program is intended to help those have fun who may not have any plans on Valentine's day or for those who have someone special but cannot afford something special
This program will be Valentine themed. In this program residents will be able to decorate a sugar cookie for someone else and themselves. I will also be plating a romantic comedy throughout the program to spark up some interesting conversation topics. Supplies will also be provided so residents have the opportunity to decorate their door and make cards.
This event is an alternative Valentine's Day that allows students to participate in self love instead of the form of love that is traditionally linked to Valentine's Day. In doing this we will have a 'Wall of Struggs and Loves" where students can write about things they struggle with as well as things they love about themselves. For the main form of passive programming we will do flyers/posters...
Back by popular demand: its a mic night!! residents will have an opportunity to show everyone there skills at singing, rapping, poetry reading anything. Participation will earn residents raffle tickets to win prizes and at the end of the night the best performer will receive a grand prize. There will be coffee, hot chocolate and snacks for residents to enoy.
A small scale event where residents will gather in the media lounge to watch The Notebook and munch on popcorn.
We will be decorating cards for family, Friends, or Partners. There will be cupcakes and everything you would need to make a card or gift box. There will also be a discussion on sexuality and how people may identify.
Students can come and make a candy gift bag, a heart garland, or a card for Valentine's Day
host a valentine's dinner for residents. will cook up spaghetti and meatballs and breadsticks. Ask residents to donate money to help support relay for life for their plate of food.
All alone on Valentines Day? You don't have to be! Come over to the left side lounge of A building on 4th floor to learn about yourself through the True Colors Personality quiz and meet new people and eat some free ice cream!!!
BEE Mine is a program that captures the essences of the "love disease." Residents will have the chance spread the love disease to their fellow hall mates by creating Valentine Day cards.
Students can come out and make some cool crafts for their friends, family, or partners while eating delicious food and learning about the history of love in novels and other cultures
We will show a movie related to Valentine's Day and talk about healthy relationships and gender roles afterward.
Come and celebrate the season of friendship and love and enjoy cupcake decorating, a photo station with props and pizza and drinks. The first 20 residents will also get supplies to make their own fleece tie-knot blankets!
Residents will have the option of ordering a rose or chocolates to give to their sweetheart on Valentine's Day. All proceeds from flowers will be donated to Relay for Life, and all proceeds from chocolate will go to the local animal shelter.
I will be making cards for my residents in the SP 503 Building wishing them a Happy Valentines Day!
