It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Come out to the MPR and get to know some of your fellow suites neighbors. There will be clips shown from the hit PBS television show that feature Mister Roger's kind and humble nature. Afterwards there will be a discussion about his character and what we can take away and use in our everyday lives.
This Bob's Burgers themed program introduced conflict resolution concepts for not only those interested in leadership positions, but also individuals who want to know how to resolve a conflict as peacefully as possible. Afterwards, we showed a Bob's Burgers episode that featured conflict resolution techniques and offered snacks and drinks from the Farm Store.
With midterms just around the corner, wouldn't it be nice to take a trip back to the 90's and watch some classic cartoons? The episodes shown will have an emphasis on anti-bullying; we will be serving snacks and scantrons will be given out! Be sure to drop by!
The Leonardo RAs will open their apartment up to residents so we can all hangout! Whether that means chatting, playing the game cube, watching television, or eating snacks! If there is something more specific than just "hanging out" that we plan to do on a particular Thursday, a separate program/progdb will be made.
Watching "The Walking Dead" in the 5th floor lounge with students throughout Building A. Afterwards there will be a character analysis of the show's characters and the way they interact with their peers, specifically in a "conflict-resolution" context.
The cross cultural center will be screening the pilot episodes for both Fresh off the Boat and Black-ish! The screenings will also have an abundance of goodies and snacks for those that attend and the screenings will be followed by critical dialogue that the CCC's Social Justice Educators will be facilitating.

This is a social program in which the 200's building can get together and watch their RA get shot to death by gangsters on the popular show Sons of Anarchy.
Misconceptions about stunt doubles are dispelled, including the difference between a stunt man and a stunt double. Stunt men can play roles in a movie without doubling someone, a stunt double is used to stand in for an actor.
Myself and eight other residents were bored one night, so we went to the chub and bought a bunch of snacks and watched reality TV in the lounge and talked for a few hours. I knocked on everyone's door to invite them and some joined for a bit or just watched while they did laundry.

Gathering of Creekview Residents in the Creekside Lounge to view the television series "American Horror Story". This provides students a way to de-stress mid-week and enjoy a shared activity. Community Advocates supplement this television viewing with popcorn and or snacks using materials from the adjacent kitchen as well as by the social company of Community Advocate(s).
Residents will join in a group watching of "The Walking Dead" along with a discussion.
