Shower thoughts are philosophical thoughts that are meant to help you look at things from a different perspective. I feel that these and other philosophical thoughts would make an interesting bulletin to expand thinking. On this bulletin, I would also begin the accumulation of stereotypes intended for our upcoming stereotype awareness social.

For my programs my residents will first come in and talk/ write about what they can remember about the beginning of the year. How they felt about it? what they were thinking? If things turned out the way they imagined and so on. Also they will talk/ write about how they think next year will be. Where they are going to live? I wanted to give residents the chance to state their views and have a monitored discussion on the big NO NO's of most converstions had with one another : Politics, Religion, Race, Sex, and any others that may be considered Taboo in today's society. Will will discuss why they are Taboo, and look into what feelings people have on the issues at hand.
