Kevin and I invited residents to play volleyball with us in the sand court next to Redwood. As residents were walking by to head to the HOP party some stopped and joined!
Residents were invited to the hall lounge to listen to music, dance to music, and get to know each other better. Most of my current residents are athletes, and they are off practicing most of the day, and this was a great time for them to share more about their life. We were able to do random dance moves, while having a good and relaxing time away from volleyball practice or class lectures.
Summer Bridge residents will be decorating cupcakes to build community amongst all four halls. This will also serve as a stress reliever during their midterms.
