Students will be able to visit the don suite and enjoy pancakes, eggs and other breakfast food while they get to know each other and the don.
This event is aimed to help tackle the food insecurity that occurs with those who only have a 5 day meal plan and who struggle to get access to a meal during the weekend. This program is also a way for the residents of CG to meet other floor-mates and bond over making food together.

The UCI SOAR food pantry, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, will be coming into the house and teaching the residents about heart-healthy cooking and budgeting techniques.
An opportunity to eat dinner and talk with fellow Galileans at the dining hall.
Students will either meet in the lobby of the residence or at Hart House and will attend the 5-Buck Lunch at Hart House together. Before heading over to Hart House, students will also be given a pamphlet prepared by one of the Dons on Mental Wellness and strategies on how to take care of one's mental health. This pamphlet will also include mental wellness resources on campus.
