To honor MLK, residents will be take downtown to Del Mar theater to watch the movie Selma.
This program was somewhat requested by residents. Many of the residents in L building of Glen Mor have never seen or heard of the tv show Rick and Morty (which is the theme of the building). So this program will give them a chance to see the first season, eat some pizza and also get a chance to mingle with their neighbors.

Residents, along with the rest of the university faculty, are invited to watch Frozen as a destressor for midterms. Students are also provided with information to apply for jobs in committees that work with faculty around campus to enact change.

I will show the film Baraka, a non-narrative documentary which surveys and explores a myriad of cultures from around the world in different locations and states of development. I will then lead a discussion on the topic of the different cultures we hail from ourselves, and the implications of living in an environment that's so culturally diverse.
A talk about the exploitation of African American culture in 70s cinema, and what it meant back then as well as now. Will be showing a film dealing with the subject.
A night of low key board games and relaxing with free food (along with a screening of the classic, Jumanji...appropirate, n'est pas?)
This program will include a movie screening of the Nightmare Before Christmas on the Lehua rooftop for all Lehua residents. The program will be used to educate people on some quick fun history and fun facts about the movie and Halloween's origin.
