A passive program on world geography in the form of a geography quiz in 3 parts, scattered throughout building. Catch Carmen San Diego and win a prize! When: Mon, Jan 26, 2009 8:00 AM - Sat, Feb 14, 2009 10:00 PM PST
Who organized the event
The main resource for this passive is an article from the Travel section of the San Francisco Chronicle (Flinn, John. "Here, There and Everywhere." San Francisco Chronicle 21 DEC 2008: E1, E4.) I used the questions in the article as the base, and built a theme around it (Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?). I only put up a few questions at a time, and rotated the questions every few days among the other posters and extra questions from the article. One "Carmen San Diego" picture is hidden in one of the posters. If a resident finds it and turns it in they receive a free scantron or blue book. Then I will replace it under another question card.
