Community Clothing Drive

Looking for a job at the Bric?

This program will take place on May 3rd, 7PM in the Aliso Lobby. This program will serve as an informational session for students who may want to get a job at the Bric next year. Bric Floor Manager Kyle Betker will be in attendance and will be going over the various positions that the Bric has to offer. He will also be going over the steps needed to complete the application progress. This will be a great opportunity for residents to get to network with CPP staff.

This is the Last Straw

This is a program aimed to help residents realize the negative impact on the environment from the usage of plastic straws. I will hand out brochures on the subject. They will be given reusable straws and straw cleaners. A video will be posted on Facebook as part of the advertisement.

The Haunted Mansion Movie Night

Powerful Women

This program we will discuss women who have fought for the rights of women or people of color. That we may not have heard of in our history books. This program is about enlightening residents about the many women who go unnoticed and do not receive recognition when they are actually the shoulders that we stand on. Transfer Picnic

This program is a community-based picnic program with games, music, and karaoke on the Bonita/Sol patio. We have reached out to Poly Transfers and the two on-campus clubs Cal Poly Rose Float and Bronco Makers to come and present to our residents so they are more inclined to be involved their next, and possibly last year here at Cal Poly.

Job Search

Sleepy Time

Polymers and Playfoam

I would like to create this program for the residents of Cedritos to gather students within the college of sciences and other backgrounds and expose them to the science behind how playfoam keeps its structural integrity by using polymers within its ingredients.

It's Not a Moment, It's a Movement

For this program, we will discuss the many movements that are being lead by youth and our role as young educated people. The coordinator of the African American Student Center Tashiana Bryant will be helping to facilitate this discussion. We will discuss movements that often get pushed back due to people not being informed about the movement and how these tragic events effect people in real time.

Get Loud and Wired for Finals

For this program, residents will be wiring and constructing a team-built DIY Bluetooth speaker. After they will be invited to stay to study with comforting music playing from the newly constructed speakers. This program allowed residents to work together to achieve a common goal and increase their skill set for their futures.

Last Call Before Quiet Hours
